Meet the Team

Bright Talkers was founded to help bridge the gap between the provision that can be offered by the NHS Speech and Language Service and the demand for speech and language therapy services from children and families across Dorset.  This has grown to include a small team of Therapists who work across the area bringing a variety of expertise and experiences. All Therapist are HCPC and RCSLT registered.

I have been a practising Speech and Language Therapist since 2006 after graduating from Reading University with an honours degree in Speech and Language Therapy. During my career I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings from special schools to mainstream schools/pre-schools as well as clinic settings. I am passionate about what our NHS provides and so I continue to work as a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist for the NHS whilst also practising as a private Speech and Language Therapist in Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch. As a parent of two boys I understand that learning needs to be fun and creative in order for children to remain motivated and positive. Each therapy session will be tailored to your child’s individual learning style and will aim to demonstrate to parents the ways that they can support their child’s progress between therapy sessions.
